We need
your help! Costa Rica is a wonderful
country, visited each year by over one million tourists. What most of them see is the beauty of the land and local
people. What few realize is that due to proximity to
war-torn Nicaragua and Colombia., Costa Rica also serves as a safe haven to
many refugees for these and other countries.
As a result, the nation's social programs are stretched to the limit. Today, many residents of Costa Rica are living below the poverty line and/or without access to proper medical attention. The Doit Center Foundation was formed by a group of business owners and individuals who desire to make a difference in our corner of Costa Rica. Through innovative, sustainable and empowering projects designed to educate and assist, we believe we can make a difference. |
